Glen Burnie, Md (Arundel.News)- A woman is recovering from injuries she sustained during a brutal assault and carjacking that began in Glen Burnie, when two suspects allegedly forced the victim out of the driver‘s seat and into the trunk of her own car. According to Anne Arundel County Police, the victim reported that she was dropping someone off in the 300 block of Milton Avenue in Glen Burnie around 2:30 a.m., on 4/15, when she was approached by a man and a woman who dragged her out of her car. The victim was then pushed into the trunk as the suspects assumed control of her 2012 Mercedes 550 sedan.

At some point the suspects stopped the vehicle in Baltimore City, but what police say they did to the victim upon pulling over is truly chilling. When officers responded to a business located on Old Pennington Avenue to speak to the woman at 7:00 a.m. that morning, she reported that the suspects had stopped the car on Pennington Avenue in Baltimore. That’s when she described how the two suspects pulled her out of the trunk before tossing her over the side of the bridge, into the waters of Curtis Creek.

There is no indication from Police how long the victim was trapped in the trunk of her car, or how long she was in the water. The Coast Guard Station in Curtis Creek is reporting water temperatures are currently near 52 degrees. Research shows that when exposed to water near 50 degrees, the human body can become incapacitated in as little as 9-15 minutes. No further details about this case are being provided by police, but if you or anyone you know has information about the suspects in the case, you are urged to contact Anne Arundel County Police.

According to a release of information from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the suspects are described as:

1) White male, 35-40 years old, with short light brown hair.
2) White female, 35-40 years old, with light brown hair, missing a front tooth.
