Red marks the area of Friday afternoons shooting incident

Annapolis, MD - Less than two hours after Annapolis Police held a press conference announcing the arrest from an earlier shooting in which a person died, more gunshots rang out.

Around 1:28 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, an off duty officer called in the shots fired alert. Advising there were around 3-4 shots. This was located on Clay Street near Pleasant St. Police 911 received several other calls reporting the same. 

Police have suspect information regarding a vehicle and a direction of travel. The shooting remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
