Dozens of Anne Arundel County Public Schools sent home letters informing parents of potential exposures last week. Today, Monday November 11th, new shorter guidelines for when non symptomatic staff and students may return to school go into effect. After day 7, non symptomatic individuals may return with proof of a negative test. Certain close contacts to people who tested positive for COVID-19 will still be required to quarantine for 10 days, and may not test out of that time period sooner. AACPS says close contacts who are fully vaccinated are excluded from that requirement.
