Anne Arundel County Lifted Indoor Masking Requirements At County Facilities On 2/15. Should AACPS drop its masking policy in schools now that case rate and hospitalizations from COVID-19 are declining ?

Anne Arundel County Executive Pittman announced on Tuesday 2/15/22, that the county will end masking requirements inside of local government facilities. The change comes one day before a scheduled Board Of Education hearing on whether to continue masking requirements for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. The Board will hear testimony and consider public input during a Wednesday night session that begins at 6 P.M. on 2/16. Parents are being warned to adhere to the rules for board meetings, or risk being removed from participation.
